Welcome to the International Friendship Games. This is just one of the ways Chula Vista fosters cross border relations and demonstrates its potential to become a regional leader in international trade and commerce. Friendly athletic competition can remind us that hard work, healthy lifestyles and perseverance will help us overcome the challenges we face as a region. These International Friendship Games also remind us that bridges are better than walls because they help us focus on our opportunities and not just our difficulties. Thank you sports and community partners for making these games possible. And, thank you Mater Dei High School for helping us showcase some of the best Chula Vista has to offer.
